It seemed to be one of her favorite expressions.Bettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09068151073417372746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003758375182616372.post-66468107956074497662017-07-04T09:09:19.897-07:002017-07-04T09:09:19.897-07:00Thanks, Angela! But in the 60's and 70's when I was growing up we were always in the USA visiting relatives, so we didn't celebrate Canada Day (or Dominion Day as it was known then) as much as we do now. Since I got married in 1982, we've always tried to celebrate it much more. I decorate with red and white, and we have a BBQ. Sometimes we watch fireworks, but until recently those weren't available. These days there is more of a patriotic spirit around, than there used to be.Lorettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13135353002456390722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6003758375182616372.post-14510877126809903592017-07-02T22:09:19.051-07:002017-07-02T22:09:19.051-07:00Happy Canada Day to you, Loretta! I know next to nothing about your holiday...do you celebrate your country's birthday like we in the United States do, with fireworks, barbeques, and displaying the flag? Anyway, sounds like you had a wonderful day. Ours is coming up on Tuesday. You have inspired me to post some pics of my dolls celebrating, too!Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00456760881142499058noreply@blogger.com
