Getting Glittery and Sparkling with Style; 14" doll outfits

The Glitter Girls outfits often come on sale.
I recently discovered that they have them pictured on their website, so I saved the images and will post them here as I acquire them.
As I stated before, I can find them at Hudson's Bay store downtown, or at Chapters/Indigo stores. They often come on sale which is a bonus as they are so reasonably priced to begin with.

Ruby is wearing the Getting Glittery outfit above and posing with another outfit. Some of the items come with a plastic hanger. The larger boxes are $19.99 Cdn and the smaller ones are $14.99.

This was the second outfit I purchased last year. It's one of my favourites. Ruby wore it most of 2018!

The Getting Glittery ensemble is also very cute. I love the heart print skirt. Today I discovered that these outfits can also fit the Hearts for Hearts dolls.

First doll of 2019!

I succumbed and purchased a new doll!
I couldn't resist because she was on sale.
Also I don't like the new faces of these dolls so she came home with me yesterday.
She is a 14" Glitter Girls doll named Keltie.
Isn't she cute?
Now I have two of these dolls and one Wellie Wisher.
She was only $15.00 Cdn at my local Chapters/Indigo book store at Metrotown.

I made up a collage for her as I don't have room to keep the boxes so I put them in the recycle box.

"A twinkle in our eyes and a sparkle in our shoes!"
Now that's a cute motto.

Her name.

The doll brand even has a website!

Glitter Girls Dolls

Here is my new 14" Glitter Girls doll!
Her name is Bluebell.
I couldn't resist her melancholy face, and her sale price!
I found her in the toy department at Hudson's Bay downtown Vancouver BC.

The Glitter Girls are made by Battat Doll Company, the same one which makes Our Generation dolls. They are quite cute, except their eyes don't open and shut, just like American Girl Wellies dolls. Bluebell's hair is very pretty and soft. She is really cute in person.

This is the back of the box. I always take a new doll out of the box immediately, and I recycle them. They don't have a cover, so why keep them?

The top of the box on the back.

The bottom of the box on the back.

Some of the accessories for the Glitter Girls were also on sale. I bought the travel one called "Sight for Bright Eyes".
Isn't it adorable?

What I bought on this dreary hump day...

Isn't this delightful?
It's Mary Ellen's living room set, not at all cheap.
But I don't trust American Girl company at all, so I decided to splurge and get this today, using the remaining balance of Robert's Christmas gift card. I'm always wary that I might lose the card! Well, now it's gone.

Leona and I visited the AG store 2 weeks ago, and she said she would definitely buy all the items for one decade, such as Mary Ellen, as she loved completed collections. I thought that was a terrific idea. The set was very expensive. $74 Cdn! It includes a very well made plastic table, known as a boomerang table, with the most adorable lamp which lights up; a tiny poodle ornament, a copy of an April 1955 TV guide, and a 1955 newspaper. That was the year my parents were married in Sept.
It reminds me of the Mad Men series.

I also bought a cute Glitter Girls outfit for $14.99 Cdn, which includes a top, skirt, shoes and socks.

My Wellie Wishers doll love it!
She now has a total of 3 outfits to her name.
The sandals don't close properly, though.

She really likes Mary Ellen's table too. It's such fun to visit the AG boutique. There wasn't a living soul in it when I was there. It's 3 blocks from my chiropractor, so I make sure I always stop in after an appointment!

A new outfit for my Wellie Wishers doll.

Here is my little Wellie Wisher's doll who I haven't yet named, wearing a new outfit!
I purchased it using some of my gift card from Robert. I didn't wish to buy another AG doll, so I will spend the money on doll clothes and props.
This outfit which consists of glitter shoes, socks, skirt, sleeveless top and sweater, was only $14.99 Cdn! It's part of the Glitter Girls domain. GG dolls are made by Our Generation and they have very cute outfits which are sold at Chapters/Indigo stores. I was really impressed by the variety and the low price. I chose this one because it has hearts for Valentine's Day coming up next month.
Isn't it sweet?
