Getting Glittery and Sparkling with Style; 14" doll outfits

The Glitter Girls outfits often come on sale.

I recently discovered that they have them pictured on their website, so I saved the images and will post them here as I acquire them.

As I stated before, I can find them at Hudson's Bay store downtown, or at Chapters/Indigo stores. They often come on sale which is a bonus as they are so reasonably priced to begin with.

Ruby is wearing the Getting Glittery outfit above and posing with another outfit. Some of the items come with a plastic hanger. The larger boxes are $19.99 Cdn and the smaller ones are $14.99.

This was the second outfit I purchased last year. It's one of my favourites. Ruby wore it most of 2018!

The Getting Glittery ensemble is also very cute. I love the heart print skirt. Today I discovered that these outfits can also fit the Hearts for Hearts dolls.

A spring garden party!

Today was spring cleaning in one corner of the bedroom. Ever since last fall the camper had been stored away. Today it was time to get it out again, as Spring is here. And dolls are able to camp in the rain, so I dusted it off and set it up.

Here are my two Heart for Hearts dolls which have never been played with. They took over the camper and love it! I opened the Our Generation garden party set I'd bought last fall. It has butterfly cookies! There was a butterfly flag from last summer, and a few little butterflies.

My husband and I visited the Victoria Butterfly Gardens on April 3 this year, on our 35th anniversary. I absolutely loved that place! Here is one of the beautiful butterflies I saw.

It was fun to set up a doll adventure on a corner of the window seat in our bedroom; I hope to change the display each month.

A new Hearts for Hearts doll!

Another new doll arrived yesterday!

Some months are like that; very exciting.

I had ordered her from Amazon in October.

She took a while to arrive, but she was only $39.99 US.

Her name is Consuelo, and she is from Mexico.

One dollar of each purchase goes to World Vision.

MPA Sales has re-launched the sale of these dolls.

I believe the dolls are the same size as the American Girl Wellie wishers dolls.

Those are $75 Cdn.

I really like the Hearts for Hearts dolls and hope to collect more of them.

(I first posted this on my main blog site, and decided to put it here on my dolly blog. Alas, we no longer have Target stores here in Canada; after a very short duration, all 130+ stores went bankrupt and closed in 2015.)

Well, it didn't take me long! I found this little darling doll (14 1/2") at my local Target store. She was only $20.99 Cdn. I've heard of these dolls but never saw them before. I looked high and low but she was the only one on the shelf.

She is "Hearts for Hearts" brand. I'm not sure of the history yet.

She portrays a 10 year old girl living in Brazil on a coffee farm.

Isn't she cute?

Zelia will be interesting to sew for.

I set her up with 3 of my AG dolls right beside my computer desk.

They stand there waiting for new outfits.
