Chavonne, in her box at Toys R Us in Metrotown, lower level where Sears bargain center once was, and in the long ago ancient days of the 1960's where Simpson Sears toy store once was!
I was struck with Chavonne's pretty face and I love her dress. I thought that Toys R Us was going to close down in Canada, as it is in the USA. So I purchased this doll on March 23 for $34.99 Cdn. I really like her face and hair, and I love her outfit.
Here is her face up close.

Are your Toys R Us stores in Canada remaining open, Loretta? I stopped in at ours yesterday and almost cried. More than half of the shelves were completely empty and roped off so customers could no longer walk down those aisles. The Journey Girls and Wellie Wishers were all gone. Only a handful of other dolls remained. It truly is the end of an era. Your Chavonne is beautiful. Prior to stopping in at Toys R Us I went to my favorite Goodwill store, and there on the shelf was an almost perfect Journey Girl Callie! She is my favorite of all the JGs. I bought her for $3, and am so glad I did, since who knows what the future of the JGs now holds? Will they be still in production, or is it the end of them as well?
Hello, Angela! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment! I never know when people comment on this poor little blog unless I stop by to check. Yes, our Toys R Us stores are remaining open. I hope the Journey Girl dolls will still be produced. I don't really have any room for more large dolls but somehow I squeeze them in. Tee hee...I really like this one.
She is one of my favorites! So pretty!

Thanks, Heather! She is even prettier in person.
